Year 6 Learning Platform
We hope that you are all getting on well with working at home and keeping busy. Work has been added for Monday 13th July - Friday 17th July, which you will find below. You do not need to print all the sheets off - you can read the work on your laptop/tablet and complete them in your workbook given in your pack.

Read daily to continue to become fluent readers. Write down any words you do not understand. You can read any books that you have at home. There are also a lot on online books that you could read and some extra activities linked to each one:
It is also important to show that we understand what we read. Use the VIPERS question prompts to dicuss the text after reading. Answers could be recorded in the work book.
Look in magazines, newspapers and books for common exception words. They could use a highlighter to highlight in magazines and newspapers or make lists of similar words. Try and use the word in a setence.
