We at St. Margaret Clitherow Academy are extremely proud of the achievements of our children. As an academy, we believe that all of our children should be challenged and supported to reach their potential, regardless of their starting points. We are very pleased with our end of year results 2018-19 and this is testimony to all the hard work put in by children, parents and staff.
At the end of key stage 2 we have performed above national averages in each of reading, writing, mathematics, spelling and grammar for the past 3 years in both attainment and progress. At the end of KS1, we have performed above national averages in each of reading, writing and mathematics for the past 2 years. Our phonics data shows us to be consistently above national averages, and after a rare dip below national average in 2018, 2019 data shows a return to above national average. The percentage of children reaching a good level of development at the end of the Early Years Foundation Stage has been above national average for the past three years, please click on the title in the boxes below. Please note that these performance measures are not current due to Covid-19.
