Thank you

It was an absolute privilege being able to accompany our marvelous Year 6 Class on their Retreat at The Briars, they were a true credit to their families, and to our school. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you, Year 6. I know that, wherever you go, you will continue to spread the message that we at SMC live by: 'Love one another'. You do it every day and you are all a wonderful example to everyone in our school and beyond. I'd also like to thank all of the staff and Team at The Briars. Our Retreat experience was truly blessed by your presence and ministry to us. The blend of quiet and reflective times coupled with moments of laughter and fun allowed us to fee

Friday - Affirming each other

Our last day at The Briars was a very positive one. We went into our small groups and wrote Affirmations (positive things) about each person in our group. After our Affirmation service, we had lunch together and headed home.

Thursday Afternoon - Let's Celebrate!

It was great, not only because we got to watch clips from The Lorax! Here are some pictures which include Bea's input, what we created, and Jason's aerial shot of what we made as a promise.

When we eventually arrived, we became very quiet. Some of us sat and prayed for the people who had died and their families, some of us picked daisies and buttercups to lay at the foot of the symbolic grave. It was a peaceful time for all of us, and we enjoyed being able to view FIVE counties. "We were so proud of our Year 6's at Crich Stand. The way they reacted to what th
