Our PFA

Join the PFA and Help Make a Difference!

The Parents and Friends Association (PFA) of St Margaret Clitherow is a vibrant group of parents, carers, and friends who work together to make our school an even more exciting place to learn and grow.

Throughout the year, we organise a fantastic range of events such as Christmas Discos, World Book Day Fashion Show, Movie Nights, Reading Retreats, the Easter Extravaganza, the Year 6 Prom, and our much-loved SMC Summer Fayre — all wonderful opportunities for our school community to come together and have fun while raising vital funds.

Your amazing support has already helped the PFA provide OPAL playground equipment and a brand-new sound system, which have made playtimes and school events even more engaging and enjoyable for our children.

This year, our main focus is on reading — inspiring a lifelong love of books and stories across the school. The PFA will be fundraising to create inviting Reading Corners and outdoor reading sheds, enhance the school library, and purchase high-quality texts for whole-class reading.

We’re always looking for new members and fresh ideas — everyone is welcome, and every contribution makes a difference. Whether you can offer a little time or a lot, we’d love for you to get involved and share your ideas with us.

Stay tuned for updates on our upcoming meetings and events, or get in touch today — we’d love to hear from you!
